By the time Elissa came to me for her website, Ethereal Edits had already evolved into a thoughtful, high-touch organizing business. The experience behind the scenes had been intentional, beautiful, and seamless. Her website just hadn’t caught up yet.
The goal was to create an online experience that felt as calm, capable, and well cared for as her clients do when they work with her.
I first met Elissa through my work with Ochre & Beige, where we developed her brand messaging, website copy, and client-facing materials. Through that process, I got to know not only her business, but the level of intention she brings to every detail of the client experience.
Her existing Squarespace website told a different story.
It felt basic compared to the caliber of her work and left her limited creatively (especially frustrating for someone with a design background herself.) We had spent so much time refining the internal experience of Ethereal Edits that it became clear the visual experience needed to rise to the same level.
Showit felt like a natural next step for Elissa. It gave us significantly more creative freedom than her previous Squarespace site while allowing us to build an experience tailored around Ethereal Edits rather than fitting the business into a rigid template.
Even with years of blog content already established, the transition was seamless. We migrated the existing blog, preserved the content she had spent years building, and gave it a new visual home alongside the rest of the brand.
For an organizing business, it would have been really easy to lean too hard into minimalism. We wanted something different.
The site needed the clarity you expect from an organizer, but with warmth, sophistication, and personality layered in. Spacious layouts, thoughtful typography, carefully sourced imagery, and subtle brand details gave the site a sense of calm without making it feel sterile.
The result feels elevated without being unapproachable —which is very much the balance Elissa creates for her own clients.

"I loved the collaboration, Kait's ideas, and how thoughtfully she guided the process. I felt so comfortable knowing my website was in the right hands.
It felt like a true partnership. Kait took the original direction and turned it into something that feels so aligned with Ethereal Edits. I could not be more excited.”
"It felt like a true partnership."
The new site feels calmer, clearer, more intentional, and considerably more elevated, but more importantly, it feels like Elissa.
Someone arriving at the website now gets an immediate sense of how it might feel to work with her: thoughtful guidance, considered details, a clear process, and the comfort of knowing everything is being handled.
That was ultimately the goal — not only to make the website look better, but to make the digital experience reflect the level of care already happening inside the business.
